Keith and Carol Huscroft

Keith and Carol Huscroft farm on the same piece of land Great Grandfather Huscroft established as one of the first European settlers in the Creston Valley. Keith is planning to integrate his horses into grain growing.

For the 2010 season, the Huscrofts will be growing khorasan, spelt, hard red spring wheat and rye.

Roy and Sherry Lawrence

Roy and Sherry Lawrence have a 150 acre farm in West Creston. Roy's grandfather started farming in Creston in the early 1940s. Roy has been farming all his life and Sherry since she married Roy in 1981. They are working towards making their farm 100% organic.

For the 2010 season the Lawrences will be growing spelt, hard red winter wheat, red fife wheat, lentils and oats.
